Clinic Worker (800x600)

Clinic Workers

Clinic workers are on the frontline of providing primary care in our communities.  It is at our clinics that many Minnesotans first access the health care system.

We are proud of the care that we provide and are making sure that we continually improve the quality of care, while making sure our clinics provide quality jobs for our community.

Colleen Woolery has been a CMA at the Health Center for Women for six years. She loves her job, but decided she wanted more.

“I started the RN program at Inver Hills Community College last fall. I’d taken my generals, you know, anatomy and physiology, chemistry, microbiology. Last August I started my nursing classes. The first semester we focused on geriatrics, which was really interesting. And then we moved into pediatrics. I love it. I hope to be done May of next year and then get a job in nursing.”
