SEIU HCMN & IA is made up of approximately 40% self-identifying conservative members. While much of the work of the Conservative Caucus is grounded in politics, this is not a Republican Caucus. Rather, we believe in Faith, Family and Freedom and let those ideals guide our work. We are not monolithic. We believe being pro union and conservative are not mutually exclusive but rather a powerful tool for our members.

Our goal is to continue strengthening our organization to be an issue based one by including conservative voices in the governance, politics, and day to day operations of the Union.

While the union focuses on many social issues, we believe our work should include all voices of the union when making those decisions. When it comes to our political work, we want to support those who support us at the capital, regardless of their political party or views.
