Thanks to all members who turned out to vote in the local elections last week! Our Union made a huge difference for the candidates we supported. In Minneapolis and St. Paul, we swept every race in which we endorsed leading to progressive majorities on both the Minneapolis and St. Paul city councils, including 3 SEIU members re-elected to city hall! Our Union was recognized on the front page of the Pioneer Press for our role in the local elections last weekend.

In Iowa City, 3 out of 4 SEIU endorsed candidates won local office as well. Thank you to all of the staff and Executive Board members who volunteered on the campaigns!
